Duri Market Review

Hello I'm back with another review post last one was quite a while ago,

So I've been going to this shop for less then a year now but decided to do a review on my opinions on it so far. In the post I will be covering main points such as:  location, environment, products, prices, and service; and I will give each factor a rating from 1-5,1 being bad and 5 being excellent.

Duri Mart Short Description:
Japanese and Korean cooking ingredients, fresh homemade foods and everyday groceries.

First of Duri Ltd is located on Uxbridge road near Ealing Common station and 607,207,427 bus stop. When you exit Ealing common you will see Starbucks on the right, opposite Starbucks is Duri. Its very easy to find. This is an outside photo:

I would rate the location a 5/5 because its quite practical to get to as their is available parking outside the shop, buses and a tube station.

Secondly when you walk in the store you are greeted in a warm manner, therefore the environment is really friendly and family orientated which makes the experience and shopping more pleasant. It is a very clean store and everything is tidy and organised inside as shown in photos:

The Environment is rated 5/5 again..I'm not being biased here, this is my true opinion.

The products are mainly from Korea but you may find Japanese or even Malaysian snacks/food if you look harder. They have normal, refrigerated and freezer foods, I cannot really rate the products quality as it depends on each product.

Linking to the products are prices which are quite important to know about as it can impact ones decision. In Duri Mart the prices on average are more expensive than a Chinese shop but are a bit cheaper than Japanese shops in London. Don't take my word for it as I haven't been to a lot of Asian shops, I personally think the prices are reasonable as they are located in a good area and they already have competitors like the natural organic Japanese shop on the same road which may be another reason why their prices are similar.

Overall the prices are rated 3/5 as you may be better of travelling further to a big Asian shop and spending less then spending more locally.

The drinks and snacks are quite a good price an average of one pound fifty for drinks and about two pounds for crisps, you may get it higher or lower then the average depending on preference.

Recently they have introduced face masks as well which is great because I love Asian cosmetics and beauty products. Here are two masks I got for two pounds each, you can buy them cheaper online but they are quite hard to find so Duri makes your life one step easier.

The overall service and store as a whole is fantastic; they have a little dinner restaurant which serves famous Korean dishes for example, bibimbap and many more...if you want more details check their Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/durimart

Swimming on a Hot Summers Day

Hi Everyone, Today was such a great day

The weather was amazing (nearly 30 degrees which is not normal in UK) and my mood was good too.

Today I went Swimming since I thought it would be perfect, it was pretty crowded because of two reasons:

1. its a Friday lol!!!
2. it was the afternoon and in the holiday season so what can you expect XD

I decided to do 20 laps in the inside pool first but things did not go to plan ahaha, I was too concentrated on people getting a sun tan. I leaped out of the pool and hurried to a dime sunny spot which I then proceeded to lay my towel down on the grass and apply sun tan lotion. I rested for a bit, minutes went by I wasn't tired at all so it began to get quite boring so I took a few pictures of the sun and the planes above my head and began editing away (as shown above in photo)... But I just wasn't getting a tan so I slowly began to miss swimming.. so I decided to go for an outdoor swim. because I felt brave even though the water was cold I forced myself in.

This all lasted about 3 hours, a very long process indeed. How did time fly so fast? I wonder myself...By the end of the sunny yet tiring swim I felt like I had accomplished something grand. Not really but I managed to fulfil my main purpose which was to have a workout and do laps whilst at the same time I was absorbing vitamin D.

I know this is a more descriptive post then my usual habits..IT CAN CHANGE. Fear not, my posts will still be updated at least once a week.

Bye Bye x

Vegan Breakfast With Twist

Hello Everyone,

So today I decided to do a vegan update.
I decided to try this New Creative Heart Vegan Pancake idea & Matcha Oat drink

Pancake Recipe:

It was super easy to make all I used was:
-Organic Dutch Brown Flour (2 cups)
- Alpro Soya Light Milk (1 cup)
- 2 Organic Bananas

I first mashed the banana with a fork until they were squished then I added the floor and milk. After the mixture had been mixed I took a larger pan and put little drops of Olive Oil so it wouldn't stick, then I placed the mixture on the pan on medium heat. I turned it around a couple times so book sides can cook afterwards using my heart cutter I carefully cut it into shapes.

I placed it in a plate with washed blueberries, strawberries and raspberries in a decorated manner as shown in picture.

Matcha Oat Drink
- Matcha ( 1 table spoon)
- Oats ( 2 spoons)
- Alpro Soya Light Milk ( 1 cup)

I put the Soya milk and Matcha in a glass and I stirred them around, then I blended oats and a couple spoons of the milk. This foam was created which I mixed into the drink to make it more tasty and sweet.

Typical Day

Hi,
Today I ate at Bibimbap in Soho. The food was severed in a very hot pot and was their famous dish: Dol Sot :)

The menu has a range of choices like seafood, beef bowls or ramen.

In the Korean Restaurant, they had kpop poster like Twice, T-ara and 4Minute which was great even though 4M disbanded this year :( I loved the kpop songs in the background too, I'm happy I found this place. Its located on 11 Greek Street near Soho Square which is very crowded.

Afterwards I went to Tsujiri which is a famous Japanese Matcha restaurant and had this chiffon cake as well on the side. I'm a big fan of Matcha- its healthy,  can help lose weight naturally and helps tone the body.
This Sundae had some random cereal in the middle which was quite odd but crunchy !!

Have a Lovely day, Spread Happiness, Make someone Smile

Part 1 Liverpool

Hi So this is Part 1 of my daytime snaps from Liverpool,

I went to numerous tourists sites like Beatles Story, The Docks, The Swans, Boat Riding, Tour Bus, Museum of Liverpool, The Seaside, China Town and Safari Park.

By the Chinese Arch their were hardly any shops/retsturants open in the afternoon, but the main road had a few Chinese souvenir shops which were interesting.
The road: Bold Street had a few Chinese supermarkets which was great....got seaweed yayay.

So I went boat riding the second day which was quite boring to be honest but the photos came out great as shown above ahaha.

The weather was unbelievable over 30 degrees on my 3rd day which I was loving.

Got a sun tan that day FINALLY

All these photos are taken from an iPod lol, I'm not a photographer.
